About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Support Worker to join our team at SeeAbility. As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with complex needs, including autism and learning disabilities, to live their best lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide daily care and support to individuals with complex needs, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication management.
  • Build strong relationships with individuals, their families, and colleagues to ensure a person-centered approach to support.
  • Empower individuals to achieve their goals and aspirations, including daily activities and long-term objectives.
  • Support individuals to engage in social activities, hobbies, and interests, promoting independence and confidence.
  • Ensure the dignity and respect of individuals and their families, upholding the values of SeeAbility.
About You

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of others. As a Senior Support Worker, you will be a key member of our team, working collaboratively with colleagues to provide exceptional support. You will have a calm, caring, and resilient nature, with a willingness to learn and develop your skills.

Requirements
  • QCF in Health & Social Care level 2 Diploma (or equivalent) with a willingness to undertake a level 3 in Health & Social Care.
  • Experience of working with individuals with complex needs, including autism and learning disabilities.
  • Ability to lead by example, being professional, patient, and calm under pressure.
  • Full manual UK driving license and comfort driving alternative vehicles.
