About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Support Assistant to join our team at Riverside. As a Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing support and guidance to our customers, helping them to achieve their goals and improve their overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support and guidance to customers, helping them to access services and resources
  • Assist with the delivery of personalized support plans, ensuring customers receive the support they need to achieve their goals
  • Work with customers to maintain a safe and healthy environment, including reporting any repairs or health and safety concerns
  • Contribute to the delivery of a housing management service, including income collection and providing customers with tenancy-related support
  • Resolve difficult and challenging situations in a sensitive and informed way, balancing the needs of the individual with the safety of the service
Requirements
  • Experience of working with vulnerable client groups
  • Experience of delivering structured support in either housing or social care
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel, as well as a willingness to learn specific IT systems used within Care and Support
