Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Advanced Practitioner to join our MASH team at Tripod Executive. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in responding to contacts made to the MASH in a timely and effective manner, identifying and securing the most appropriate services to support and safeguard children and families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to contacts made to the MASH, assessing and prioritizing cases to ensure timely and effective intervention.
  • Work collaboratively with multi-agency teams, including Greater Manchester Police, Health, Community Safety, Adult Social Care, IDVA, and the Prevention Hub, to secure the most appropriate services for children and families.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including children, families, and professionals, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure the effective operation of the MASH team.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in areas such as child protection, safeguarding, and family support.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of child protection and safeguarding principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple cases simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures, including the Children Act 1989 and the Care Act 2014.
