As a key member of our Neonatology Directorate, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our neonatal services.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to the delivery of a responsive and high-quality neonatal service, working as part of the Tier 2 medical rota.
- Take on leadership roles and contribute to quality improvement projects, research, audit, and service development.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for a range of neonates, using advanced skills and knowledge.
- Perform neonatal invasive procedures and request and review investigations to initiate, alter, or update medical management plans.
- Maintain and enhance professional standards of care across the spectrum of Neonatology and contribute to the professional development of the wider ANNP and neonatal nursing team.
- NMC registration.
- MSc / Level 7 Advanced Practice Neonatal.
- ANNP practice minimum 5 years.
- NLS provider.
- Evidence of ordering, interpreting, and rationalizing clinical investigations.
- Ability to perform neonatal specific invasive procedures.
