Job Title: Advanced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Advanced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join our team at the Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Tier 1 medical rota, you will contribute to the delivery of a responsive and high-quality neonatal service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work as part of the Tier 1 medical rota to deliver a high-quality neonatal service
  • Take on leadership skills and contribute to quality improvement projects
  • Work across NNU, Labour ward, Postnatal ward, and transitional care
  • Contribute to the development of the neonatal unit and its services
About the Role:

The Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust is a leading provider of healthcare services in Greater Manchester. Our neonatal unit is one of the largest and most advanced in the region, with a team of experienced consultant neonatologists and a state-of-the-art facility.

As an Advanced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients and families, and to contribute to the development of our neonatal services. You will also have access to a range of training and development opportunities, including opportunities for research and development.

Requirements:
  • Current NMC PIN to practice as a Registered Nurse or Midwife in the UK
  • Or currently enrolled on a course to receive a full NMC Pin within the next 2-3 months

Please note that an NMC PRN Pin is not a full NMC Pin and would not fulfill the essential criteria for this role.
