Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join our newly created specialist Nutrition Team as a Dietitian Advanced Clinical Practitioner. As a key member of this team, you will develop advanced clinical practice in the area of complex nutrition support, working autonomously and collaboratively with a multi-professional team.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Developing knowledge and skills beyond the scope of a Band 7 dietetic clinician, enabling this role to undertake advanced clinical practice supported by a Consultant medical colleague.
  • Undertaking advanced clinical practice, including the development of specialist management of nutritional treatments, feeding devices, and patient pathway planning.
  • Leading change to support a patient and person-centred approach to nutrition service delivery and development.
  • Providing training for health professionals, including contribution to our nutrition training for medics.
  • Supporting the development of programmes of care, protocols, and clinical audit.
