About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Leader to join our team at Akari Care. As a key member of our healthcare community, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional clinical care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
  • Lead and mentor a team of healthcare professionals, promoting a culture of excellence and collaboration.
  • Develop and implement effective care plans, working closely with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing evidence-based solutions.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • A strong background in nursing, with a focus on elderly care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
  • Leadership and management skills, with experience in mentoring and coaching teams.
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality care, with a focus on patient-centeredness and person-centered care.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

What We Offer

  • A competitive salary of £20.00 per hour.
  • A welcome bonus of £1,500 (T&C's apply).
  • Employers pension contribution of 3%.
  • Uniform provided and DBS check costs paid.
  • 28 days annual leave (based on full-time hours, including Bank Holidays).
