We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Clinical/Counselling Psychologist to join our Adult Community Psychological Services team in Mid Essex. This is a fixed-term contract until 14th March 2025, and we welcome newly qualified applicants who can demonstrate the right skills and experience.
Main ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality psychological assessments and interventions to service users with complex and severe mental health presentations. They will work closely with multi-disciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans, and contribute to the management and running of therapeutic programs.
Key Requirements- Doctoral level training in clinical or counselling psychology, including models of psychopathology, clinical psychometrics, and neuropsychology.
- HCPC registration.
- Experience in specialist psychological assessment and treatment of complex mental health presentations across various care settings.
- Experience in conducting neuropsychological assessments in adult services.
- Experience in teaching, training, and supervision.
- Experience of working within a team environment.
