Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Clinical/Counselling Psychologist to join our Adult Community Psychological Services team in Mid Essex. This is a fixed-term contract until 14th March 2025, and we welcome newly qualified applicants who can demonstrate the right skills and experience.

Main Duties

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality psychological assessments and interventions to service users with complex mental health presentations. They will work closely with multi-disciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans, and contribute to the management and running of therapeutic programmes.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in specific psychological interventions, such as Dialectical Behaviour Therapy or CBT for PD, and be skilled in multi-disciplinary treatment planning. They will also be able to form respectful and collegial relationships with members of various disciplines and rise to the challenges posed by working in large teams and across services.
