Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Specialist Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team in Llanelli. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the rehabilitation and recovery of individuals with complex needs following brain injuries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality occupational therapy using a neurobehavioural model.
  • Manage a diverse caseload and prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Supervise therapy assistants and rehabilitation support workers as part of the multidisciplinary team.
  • Work with patients to regain independence in areas such as social, leisure, and vocational activities.
  • Conduct complex risk assessments and develop tailored care plans.
  • Engage in service development and research to enhance the organisation's approach to neurorehabilitation.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A degree or diploma in Occupational Therapy and HCPC registration.
  • Experience in neurological rehabilitation and the ability to work autonomously.
  • Strong communication and report writing skills.
  • The ability to manage a complex caseload and formulate comprehensive risk assessments.
  • Experience in supervising and training others.
  • A valid UK driving licence.
