Consultant Psychiatrist for Dorset

We are recruiting an exceptional Consultant Psychiatrist to fill this exciting opportunity at Dorset HealthCare University NHS Foundation Trust, where you will have the chance to shape the future of our community mental health services.
This part-time role (7.5 PA's) covers a Primary Care Network of nine GP surgeries across mainly rural communities and Dorchester town. As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will be included in the on-call rota, which is Dorset wide and paid at a 3% on-call availability supplement plus additional compensation.
Essential Qualifications and Skills:
- General Medical Qualification e.g. MRCPsych or recognised equivalent.
- Mastery of principles of leadership and experience in supervising junior medical staff.
- Awareness of current issues in mental health service provision, policy, and legislation.
Our Benefits:
