Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Mental Health Recovery Specialist to join our team at Turning Point. As a key member of our Lincolnshire Recovery Partnership, you will play a vital role in delivering substance use treatment and recovery services to young people across the county.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver interactive workshops and drug and alcohol awareness sessions to Key Stage 2-5 students
  • Provide young people with information and advice around substances, including factual and up-to-date harm reduction information
  • Work closely with schools and other stakeholders to promote recovery and well-being
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of our 'Recovery First' model
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • Experience working in substance use treatment and recovery services
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively with young people and schools
  • Knowledge of substance use and mental health issues
  • Valid driving license and access to a vehicle
