About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Digital Transformation Manager to join our team at Barclays Bank UK PLC. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in driving innovation and excellence in our digital landscape.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support to Change Delivery Managers: Collaborate with change delivery managers to ensure their programs are compliant with our control framework, including oversight of controls and governance standards.
  • Process Development and Implementation: Create and implement standardized project management office (PMO) processes and methodologies that align with our controls and governance standards.
  • Project Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor project performance, track progress, identify risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies, and create reports on project status for senior management.
  • Project Documentation and Governance: Support project documentation, including maintenance of project plans, schedules, and budgets, and ensure that project documentation is up-to-date and accurate.
  • Change Management Framework Training: Provide training on our change management framework to project managers and other stakeholders to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver successful projects.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance project delivery.
Assistant Vice President Expectations
  • Complex Issue Resolution: Consult on complex issues and provide advice to people leaders to support the resolution of escalated issues.
  • Risk Mitigation and Policy Development: Identify ways to mitigate risk and develop new policies and procedures in support of our control and governance agenda.
  • Risk Ownership and Control Strengthening: Take ownership of managing risk and strengthening controls related to our work.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with other areas of work to keep up to speed with business activity and the business strategy, and communicate complex information effectively.
  • Stakeholder Influence and Engagement: Influence or convince stakeholders to achieve outcomes and engage in complex analysis of data from multiple sources.

We are looking for a candidate with previous experience in change management within financial services, stakeholder management, and communications. You will need to demonstrate strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and digital and technology skills. This role will be based out of our Knutsford office.
