Portfolio Manager Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team to support sub-pod leads with governance and portfolio management, demonstrating exceptional leadership and coordination skills to ensure seamless execution of all governance and portfolio management activities.
  • Key understanding of change governance processes and managing risks and issues, possessing a comprehensive grasp of these processes to effectively identify, manage, and mitigate potential risks and issues, ensuring smooth transitions and continuity.
  • Attention to detail, maintaining an unwavering focus on precision and accuracy in all tasks, thereby upholding the highest standards of quality and reliability.
Desirable Skills:
  • Knowledge of the bank's processes, bringing a deep familiarity with the workflows, which facilitates efficient task management and enhances overall productivity.
  • Understanding of Agile ways of working, showcasing proficiency in Agile methodologies that promote flexibility, collaboration, and continuous improvement, enabling effective adaptation to dynamic environments.
  • Organised, demonstrating exceptional organisational skills that allow for the efficient juggling of multiple tasks and priorities, ensuring timely completion of projects and adherence to deadlines.
