Job Description

To drive business growth and revenue expansion, we seek a highly skilled Branch Development Manager to join our team at Irlam Associates. The successful candidate will be responsible for acquiring new customers and managing existing portfolios to increase revenue within the branch.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Win new and dormant business to drive overall revenue and profit growth for the branch.
  • Manage a portfolio of existing business to ensure customers are spending to their maximum potential.
  • Explore share of wallet opportunities with existing customers.
  • Create and manage a pipeline of opportunities to increase growth of the branch, while retaining healthy profit margins.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to build tailored, sustainable, and profitable solutions for customers.
  • Analyze customer data and market research to inform business development strategies.
  • Meet or exceed monthly sales targets and weekly KPIs.
Statutory Duties:
  • Cooperate with the employer to comply with legal obligations.
  • Do not recklessly interfere with health, safety, or welfare-related matters.
  • Report any perceived health and safety shortcomings to the Company Health and Safety Manager.
  • Ensure all work is undertaken with the required competency and authority.
Internal and External Relationships:
  • Liaise with Regional Manager, Branch Manager, Commercial Director, and employees at all levels within the Company.
  • Engage with customers, suppliers, and contractors as necessary.
Requirements:
  • Proven sales experience with a personal target.
  • Logistics and Supply Chain experience (desirable).
  • Experience in generating new business and account management.
  • Significant experience in field sales (minimum of 1 year).
  • Adherence to company systems, including CRM, pipeline, and risk reporting.
