About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Project Worker to join our team in Halton. As a Project Worker - Boys and Young Men Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting children and young people who have been affected by Domestic Violence.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver one-to-one sessions and group work to support boys and young men who have witnessed Domestic Violence and Abuse.
- Develop relationships with professionals across organisations to enhance the emotional, mental health, and wellbeing offer.
- Support children and young people to increase their personal resilience and empower them to manage their own mental health.
Requirements
- Substantial experience in working with children and young people at risk from diverse backgrounds.
- Experience of advice and advocacy work with vulnerable people.
- Prior experience of working with children and young people presenting with emotional, behavioural, and/or mental health difficulties.
- Experience of supporting people who are dealing with complex and sensitive issues.
- Prior experience of supporting children and young people who have been victims of Domestic Violence and Abuse.
