Job Description
The Senior Geophysical Engineer plays a crucial role in our Offshore Renewables Business. You will work on delivering large-scale global offshore wind projects, providing geophysical support and expertise at all stages of the project life cycle. This includes site investigation activities, survey strategy development, and consultancy scopes of work. Your responsibility will extend to managing geophysical surveys, including Owner's Engineer management, and making key decisions that influence multi-million pound contracts. You will also provide technical support and advice on survey and equipment types, manage ground model development, and ensure compliance with industry guidelines.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have a degree in a relevant geophysical or geological discipline. You should have extensive experience in geophysical survey methods, including offshore acquisition, and the interpretation of geophysical datasets. Experience in ground model development using geophysical datasets, planning, managing, and executing offshore geophysical site investigations for large-scale projects is essential. Additionally, you should have knowledge of engaging with different stakeholders, balancing technical, commercial, and programme requirements, and integrating geotechnical and geophysical data. Proficiency in geophysical software tools and excellent communication skills are also required.
