Salary: Estimated £65,000 - £85,000 per annum.

Job Description: We are seeking an Advanced Clinical Pharmacist Manager to join our multidisciplinary team on our Virtual Ward. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring seamless, integrated care by providing specialist medicines assessments and interventions for patients admitted to the acute Virtual Ward.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Leadership within the Virtual ward regarding medicines and medicines governance.
  • Medicine reconciliation.
  • Answering medication queries raised by the multidisciplinary team and providing clinical support to the Virtual Ward Technician.

About the Role: This is an exciting opportunity to work with our innovative healthcare team, revolutionizing delivery for patients. You will be responsible for leading the provision of high-quality, specialized clinical pharmacy services to ensure safe, clinically effective, and cost-efficient use of medicines.

Clinical Governance: You will lead on clinical governance and risk management through interventions which optimize the management of medicines in Virtual Wards, supporting best practice throughout all areas of responsibility.

Managerial: You will provide mentoring, training, supervision, and line management of substantive and rotational pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and other pharmacy staff as required, including appraisals and performance reviews.

Training and Education: You will lead on the training and development of pharmacy staff within Virtual Wards and support training of other staff members within the team as appropriate.
