We are seeking an experienced Payroll professional to join our internal payroll team as Payroll Team Leader. Main Responsibilities- Manage the Trust's Payroll Team, providing specialist Payroll support and undertaking appraisals and absence management.
- Plan and organise the efficient distribution of total workload between team members to ensure all areas of payroll are completed in line with strict deadlines.
- Forward plan the workload to meet the department's objectives and deadlines, taking a longer-term view into account for future changes in the Trust or department.
- Participate in the department's training sessions provided to managers across the Trust.
We are East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust, providing hospital and community health services to almost one million people across east Suffolk and north Essex. Our dedicated staff deliver care from acute hospitals in Colchester and Ipswich, community hospitals, surgeries, community clinics, and in patients' own homes.

Person Specification- Relevant degree or equivalent experience plus further training and experience to post graduate diploma equivalent.
- Previous senior payroll role.
- Advanced IT Systems including - Microsoft Office.
- Experience of dealing with complex payroll cases.
