We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Clinical Practitioner to join our Children and Young People's Autism Service. As a Specialist Nurse Practitioner, you will work closely with multi-disciplinary teams to assess and manage children and young people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

Job Description:

In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality healthcare services to children and young people with ASD. This will involve working collaboratively with families, schools, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.

  • You will have a strong clinical background in nursing, with experience in assessing and managing complex cases.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple caseloads.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A registered professional qualification in nursing (e.g., RGN, RMN, RNLD) and current registration with the NMC.
  • Evidence of continuing professional development in a field related to CYP with Autism.
  • Post-graduate clinical courses within the area of CYP with Autism.
  • ASC assessment training, including ADIR/ADOS.
