About the Role: We are seeking a skilled Commissioning Manager to join our team in the West Midlands region, responsible for commissioning healthcare services for a population with high levels of health inequalities.

The successful candidate will provide operational leadership to a small commissioning team responsible for all aspects of commissioning, contract quality assurance, and performance monitoring in the non-custodial portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with a range of stakeholders to commission healthcare services
  • Develop strong relationships with independent sector and NHS providers
  • Commission Liaison and Diversion, Primary Mental Health Treatment requirements, and Reconnect services within the West Midlands region

Requirements:

  • Educated to master's level or equivalent experience of working at a senior level in specialist area
  • Commissioning and contracting experience
  • Extensive knowledge of specialist areas acquired through postgraduate diploma or equivalent experience or training plus further specialist knowledge or experience to master's level equivalent

Salary: £53,755 - £60,504 per annum (dependent on experience)
