About the roleThis is an exciting opportunity to work with individuals in need, providing critical support and guidance over the phone. As a Mental Health Call Handler, you will be responsible for managing complex calls from young people, parents/carers, and other professionals, working closely with clinicians to ensure effective outcomes.
Based in Maidstone, Kent, this role offers a unique chance to make a real difference in your community, leveraging your exceptional communication skills to de-escalate anxiety and provide solutions to current concerns.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent active listening skills, empathy, and understanding, with the ability to engage effectively with Children and Young People who may be in acute distress. You will also have strong computer literacy and be comfortable using our systems to record accurate information and maintain confidentiality.
We offer a competitive salary of £26,530 - £29,114 per annum, depending on experience, along with opportunities for growth and development within our organization.
