About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior MP&L Manager to lead our MP&L activities and supply chain efficiency initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for building a culture of inclusivity and effectiveness, ensuring that team members and suppliers are aligned with organisational goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and adhere to site Health & Safety protocols, including equipment and use.
  • Analyse inbound/outbound operations and identify areas for process enhancement.
  • Implement business strategies and plans that align with short- and long-term objectives.
  • Monitor performance and take corrective measures when necessary.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key customers, clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Compile data using spreadsheets and deliver presentations.
  • Problem solve complex and varying issues.
  • Work closely with IT to develop and maintain warehouse management systems.
  • Delegate tasks effectively, setting SMART objectives and goals.
  • Ensure recording of all accidents/incidents and completion of relevant documentation.
  • Deliver customer requirements in line with DP World standards.
  • Ensure compliance with best practice.
  • Perform performance management of staff, including appraisals and learning and development plans.
  • Manage stock levels as required by customer and maintain warehouse bond.

Requirements

  • Five or more years of experience in leadership roles.
  • Excellent leadership skills, with steadfast resolve and personal integrity.
  • Understanding of advanced business planning.
  • Solid grasp of data analysis and performance metrics.
  • Ability to diagnose problems quickly and foresee potential issues.
  • Degree in applicable subject or Level 5 or above apprenticeship.
