About the Job

We are seeking a highly motivated Graduate Project Specialist to join our team in London. As a key member of our Civil Works Programme, you will work on the Sizewell nuclear new build project. This is a contract role that offers hybrid working options.

Job Description

The successful candidate will support either the Design Manager or the Engineering & Technical Project Manager within the Engineering & Technical function. They will work under the direction of their supervisor, focusing on technical aspects or cost and schedule management.

Key responsibilities include supporting the definition and validation of technical requirements, managing open points and design changes, and ensuring design technical assurance. The candidate will also engage with stakeholders, including EDF Nuclear Services and SZC Design Authority.

Scope Areas

This role includes several technical areas, such as Enabling Works & Earthworks, Marine & Tunnelling, Nuclear Island, CI-BOP-Heat Sink, and Ancillary Works. The successful candidate will support the Design Manager or Engineering & Technical Project Manager within one of these scope areas.

To succeed in this role, you should have experience in design activities, managing designs and teams, and providing technical assistance. You should also be able to communicate effectively within a project team and across various levels.

Salary and Contract Terms

We offer a competitive salary, estimated at £45,000-£55,000 per annum, depending on experience. The contract duration is 12 months, with the possibility of extension.
