About the JobAs a Technical Sales Designer, you will play a pivotal role in the sales team based in central London. Your focus will be on both commercial viability and technical proficiency, ensuring that execution aligns with client expectations.
Your key responsibilities will include providing leadership and innovation in design, drawing office, and technical information for bids, ensuring delivery to top-tier quality standards. You will also develop a talent pool to meet increasing demands and ensure sufficient technical competencies, coordinate successful bid formulations and presentations, lead the design team to maintain a best-in-class engineering design capability, manage project technical documentation, oversee risk management, and conduct project launch meetings.
Experience, Licences & QualificationsThe ideal candidate will have a BSc in an engineering discipline and/or BA in Business Management or equivalent, experience in an engineering environment, with a focus on electrical, control, and instrumentation, previous experience with electronic security systems and solutions, technical expertise in design and project delivery, experience in project or technical team management, proficiency in PC and Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, and Project, and a full UK driving licence.
