Senior Care Assistant Job Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled and dedicated Senior Care Assistant to join our Hartford Care team. This Permanent / Full time role offers an attractive salary of £25,000 - £28,000 per annum, plus a GBP2,000 attraction payment.

About the Position

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high quality, individualised care and support to residents during the daytime, promoting each person's privacy, dignity, and independence.

Key responsibilities include supervising and leading the shift and team members, working together as a team to create a happy and caring atmosphere.

  1. Supervise and lead the shift and team members
  2. Provide direct observations on care assistants
  3. Check activities logs
  4. Give detailed handovers to the team
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • At least 2 years experience as a Care Assistant in residential care
  • Completed an L3 NVQ/Diploma in Health and Social Care
  • A compassionate and caring nature
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to use IT systems
  • Ability to lead and motivate staff members
  • Able to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
  • A flexible approach to working hours
