Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Business Operations Coordinator to join our team at Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Head of Adult Services, the Head of Housing and Communities, and Principal Officers in managing the business of the Social Services, Housing and Community Safety Directorate.
Main Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the planning and delivery of consistent support to senior management and staff in the Social Services, Housing and Community Safety Directorate.
- Develop and implement plans and policies in collaboration with senior management and other staff.
- Communicate and liaise with senior management, staff, and external agencies to ensure effective working relationships.
- Take minutes in multi-agency meetings and maintain accurate records.
- Apply knowledge of formal quality management and project management methodologies to support the delivery of services.
- Contribute to performance and change management initiatives.
- Work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals and objectives.
Requirements:
- 4 GCSEs at grade C or above.
- Degree or recognized professional accreditation in quality management or project management methodologies.
- Administrative or management-related NVQ level 3 or equivalent.
- Attainment or working towards NVQ Level 4 in management.
