About the Role
North Yorkshire Council is seeking an experienced HR professional to join our team as a Senior HR Specialist. As a key member of our HR team, you will provide expert advice and guidance to our clients, ensuring that they receive the highest level of service and support.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide HR advice and guidance to clients, ensuring that they receive the highest level of service and support.
- Manage operational casework, including disciplinary, grievance, redundancy, and restructuring.
- Support safeguarding allegations against staff.
- Forge excellent relationships with clients, understanding their individual needs and contexts.
Requirements
- Strong moral purpose in making a difference to the education of children and young people.
- Excellent commercial awareness and customer service skills.
- Ability to thrive in a busy, varied, and highly operational context.
