We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced physical performance coach to join our team at Liverpool Football Club. This full-time permanent role involves working flexibly across the week at our state-of-the-art AXA Training Centre.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver elite-level physical performance coaching in football, driving world-class standards through innovative approaches and relentless drive.
  • Design and implement individualized performance programs for first-team players and high-potential U23 athletes, leveraging expertise in strength, power, speed, movement, and endurance.
  • Analyze and refine player performance data, ensuring peak physical condition through continuous monitoring and evaluation.
  • Collaborate with the medical department to develop comprehensive support plans for each player, fostering a holistic approach to performance optimization.
  • Contribute to the development of a high-performance culture within the club, promoting innovation, collaboration, and excellence on and off the pitch.
Requirements
  • MSc in Sport Science or equivalent, together with UKSCA accreditation or BASES accreditation.
  • Proven track record in delivering elite-level coaching in football, with significant knowledge of physical and physiological demands.
  • Possession of UEFA coaching badges and passion for applying research into practice.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
