We are seeking a highly skilled Reading and Resources Coordinator to join our team at EdEx – Education Recruitment.

This is a permanent vacancy, directly employed through the school, with a salary range of £26,500 upwards. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the school library, promoting reading, and developing a culture of literacy throughout the school community.

About You:

  • You will have maths and English GCSEs at Grade C or above.
  • You must have the right to work in the UK.
  • A-Level English or equivalent to Grade C would be desirable.
  • You will have experience working in a library or a similar role.
  • You are a team player, willing to go above and beyond to support students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain the school library, including its resources and facilities.
  • Promote reading and literacy across the school community.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve student engagement and motivation.
  • Collaborate with teachers to identify and purchase high-quality resources.
  • Provide a welcoming climate in the library and across the school, fostering a positive learning environment.
