About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Venue Manager to join our team at Whitechurch, a premium food and beverage venue in the heart of Durham City Centre.

As a Venue Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of staff to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales growth. You will have a strong focus on financial management, commercial acumen, and people management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and motivate a team of staff to deliver outstanding customer service and drive sales growth
  • Manage the financial performance of the venue, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
  • Develop and implement commercial strategies to drive sales and revenue growth
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, partners, and stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety, food safety, and other regulatory requirements
