We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Medical Officer in Psychiatry to join our team at Cygnet Hospital Godden Green. The successful candidate will have a strong background in psychiatry and excellent clinical decision-making skills. They will be able to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team, providing high-quality treatment under the direction of a Consultant Psychiatrist.

Fully GMC registered and MBBS (or equivalent) qualified, with experience within a mental health setting. Able to work as part of a multidisciplinary team, knowledgeable of mental health legislation and codes of practice. An excellent clinical decision-maker, with sound judgment and ability to manage risk.

A first-rate communicator who can interview, assess, and treat patients, write clear, comprehensive medical notes. Committed to continued professional development. Preferably approved under Section 12 of the Mental Health Act and a member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists, or equivalent.
