Job Description

We are seeking an inspirational leader to provide leadership, vision, and direction in Falkirk's Children's Social Work Service.

This is a unique opportunity to empower practitioners and make a lasting difference for our children, individuals, families, and communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Head of Children and Justice Services to manage and develop Children and Families Social Work services.
  • Provide positive and strong value-based leadership to practitioners.
  • Ensure effective financial controls and best value for Falkirk Council.
  • Develop systems of communication and consultation that promote participation.

Requirements:

Registered Social Worker with the Scottish Social Services Council. A management qualification is desirable.

Salary: £52,500 per annum.
