About the Role

As a Residential Children's Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing care and support to children in a residential setting. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the physical, emotional, and psychological well-being of the children in your care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide constant supervision and care for children in a residential setting.
  • Offer emotional support and build trusting relationships with the children.
  • Offer guidance and education to families on parenting and child development.
  • Connect families with community resources and support services.
  • Conduct home visits to assess living situations and provide in-home support.
  • Work towards family reunification when possible.
Requirements
  • Previous 6 months prior experience in the UK as a Support Worker.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Registration under the PVG scheme.
  • Full driving license.
  • Obtained, or working towards SVQ level 4 in Health and Social Care, or equivalent desirable.
