Senior Capital Project Manager

We are seeking a Senior Capital Project Manager to provide critical support to the Building and MEP leads. This role offers an exceptional opportunity to be involved in a major civil engineering project that aims to transform the welfare of the people of Cheshire.

Main Responsibilities
  • To assist the Building Lead or MEP Lead as required, ensuring seamless project delivery.
  • To collaborate with the HF Construction Director, Building Lead, and MEP Lead in managing resources effectively and efficiently.
  • To provide leadership support for the New Hospital Programme Construction Team, ensuring effective planning, development, and management of services.
  • To assist the HF Construction Team on this major project and associated enabling or supporting projects, taking lead responsibility for defined workstreams or packages.
  • To provide technical expertise in building and engineering designs, adhering to NHS Health Technical Memorandum (HTMs), Health Building Notes (HBNs), British Standards, and current legislation.
  • To take technical lead for defined workstreams or packages related to the management of HF Programme works and providing accurate up-to-date advice.
  • To commission and project manage defined workstreams or packages, act as lead, and manage staff/consultants as required.
About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our programme management team at Leighton Hospital in Crewe. The Trust supports flexible working and is located in a beautiful countryside setting with excellent rail and road links to Chester, Manchester, and Liverpool.

Key Requirements
  • Degree or equivalent experience in general or project/programme management roles.
  • Evidence of continuous professional development.
Remuneration:

£70,000 - £100,000 per annum.
