About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Specialist to join our team at Cheshire College - South & West. Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair IT systems and equipment, ensuring they function effectively and meet agreed service standards;
  • Install and configure IT equipment and software to meet user needs;
  • Identify persistent and potential problems, suggesting and implementing solutions to improve system performance and efficiency;
  • Assist with inventory audits of equipment and software, ensuring accurate records and optimal resource allocation;
  • Contribute to the development and technical support of the technology infrastructure for both voice and data systems;
  • Promote the welfare and safety of children and young people, adhering to relevant policies and procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • GCSE Grade C (4/5) or above in English and Maths, or equivalent qualification;
  • Understanding of equality, diversity, and inclusion principles in the workplace and learning environment;
  • Excellent organisational skills, with attention to detail and ability to prioritise tasks;
  • Appropriate level of digital literacy, with proficiency in relevant software and hardware.
