NHS is seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Dietitian Lead to join their team. This exciting role offers the opportunity to provide advanced, highly specialised dietetic care to children and their families and carers at a local and regional level.

Job Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading aspects of clinical training for dietetic learners and other staff, as well as supporting the Children's Clinical Dietetic Manager with the day-to-day running of the team.

Main Responsibilities

Provide advanced, highly specialised dietetic care to patients at local and regional level, including advice to patients and all healthcare staff.

  • Lead and coordinate dietetic research and audit within the Children's Allergy Team.
  • Support the Children's Clinical Dietetic Manager in coordinating activities of the team and providing support and supervision to staff.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must have:

  • BSc (Hons) Nutrition & Dietetics or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience of working as a Dietitian at a senior level, including paediatric experience.
  • Demonstrate understanding of current issues in Nutrition and Dietetics.

The estimated salary for this position is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
