About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Finance Partner to join our team at Undisclosed. As a key member of our Commercial Finance team, you will play a critical part in driving business growth and achieving financial objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Partnership: Steward and drive business activities, partnering with the Business Development team to support opportunities and hold the business to account for commitments.
  • Financial Management: Ensure all business activities are carried out in accordance with local legislative requirements, and enhance and protect Undisclosed's financial interests. This includes driving delivery of financials, including profit and loss, capital expenditure, billing, and debt management.
  • Contractual Mechanisms: Bring a clear understanding of contractual mechanisms to financials, becoming a trusted advisor to commercial and technical teams.
  • Financial Reporting: Provide timely, action-oriented financial reporting relevant to business unit performance, including stages of lead to cash.
  • Strategy Development: Support the development and implementation of the business unit strategy by working with the team to provide insights and key reports, aligned to the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) strategy.
  • Data Analytics: Use data analytics to make better decisions, delivering process, systems, or tool changes to improve data analytics capability.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously improve finance processes and systems, anticipating and recognizing obstacles in work processes between teams and making suggestions for ongoing productivity improvements.
  • Accounting Principles: Apply accounting principles and procedures in complex and unique scenarios, including contract accounting.

  • Commercial Thinking: Develop and implement ideas using internal commercial insight and the latest external thinking.
  • Collaborative Partnership: Develop great working relationships with stakeholders, sharing knowledge and collaborating.
  • Inspiring Communication: Create inspiring messages, considering different perspectives, and delivering simple communications.
  • Qualifications: Qualified Accountant (mandatory), Established Business Partner (mandatory), Managing Profit and Loss and/or Capital Expenditure (mandatory).
  • Desirable Skills: Interacting on an external customer account, working in a contract accounting environment, and experience in driving strategy.
