About the Role


We are seeking a skilled Emergency Care Assistant to join our team at Bristol Ambulance. As an ECA, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality pre-hospital care to patients in emergency situations.


Key Responsibilities



  • Respond to emergency calls and provide effective pre-hospital care to patients
  • Assess, care, and treat patients in a pre-hospital environment
  • Transport patients safely and efficiently to hospital or other destinations
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients

Requirements



  • Blue Light Driving qualification
  • FREC 4 or equivalent qualification in Emergency Care Assistance
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and make quick decisions in emergency situations
