This is a unique opportunity for an experienced wildlife professional to contribute to the conservation efforts in the Orkney Islands. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in the delivery of the stoat eradication project for the ONWP.
Main Tasks:- Monitoring and maintenance of DOC200 kill traps across the island network.
- Conducting trap deployments and removals as required.
- Data capture and analysis using a designated database system.
- Collaborating with colleagues to achieve project objectives.
- Expertise in invasive species management.
- Ability to work independently in harsh environments.
- Familiarity with data recording and field identification techniques.
- Valid full driving license or alternative transportation arrangements.
Salary: £29,200 per year.
