Job Description:

We are seeking a Computer Science Lead to join our team at one of our partner schools. As a key member of the leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the computer science curriculum, ensuring that students receive an excellent education in this subject area.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive computer science curriculum that meets the needs of students at all Key Stages
  • Work closely with teachers and staff to ensure effective delivery of the curriculum
  • Monitor student progress and attainment in computer science
  • Identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address these
  • Promote the importance of computer science education to students, parents, and the wider community

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in computer science, preferably with teaching experience at Key Stage 3 and 4
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • The ability to work collaboratively with others
  • A passion for computer science education and a commitment to delivering high-quality learning experiences
