About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Fundraising Area Manager to join our team at RSPB. As a key member of our fundraising team, you will be responsible for leading a team of Membership Fundraisers in the West Midlands and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of Membership Fundraisers to achieve targets and uphold the standards of the organization.
  • Provide in-person support visits, 1:1s, phone chats, team and individual communications, and virtual and in-person meetings to ensure Fundraisers are equipped to succeed.
  • Recruit and deliver best practice training to new Membership Fundraisers, and build their capabilities through initiating buddy shifts and delivering support visits.
  • Build effective, collaborative working relationships with key stakeholders and be responsible for recruiting and selecting new team members.
  • Embed and lead a positive team culture, consistently achieving KPIs through effective communication and negotiation skills.
About You

We are looking for a self-motivated, enthusiastic, and determined individual with excellent leadership skills and a good understanding of fundraising standards. You will be confident in leading and managing a team to ensure targets are met, and be able to embed and lead a positive team culture.

You will also have an understanding of leadership styles, be confident in giving and receiving regular feedback, and be able to travel to different locations in the West Midlands and surrounding areas to support your team.

Please note that a full driving licence that is valid in the UK is a requirement for this position.
