Elderly Care Team Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Care Professional to lead our care team at Dovehaven Lodge in Preston. As the Senior Care Professional, you will be responsible for overseeing the care team, promoting high standards of care, and contributing to creating a caring and friendly environment for our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the care team within the Home
- Ensure care staff adhere to CQC guidelines
- Promote high standards of care
- Supervise and instruct less experienced staff
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Excellent communication and written skills
- Previous experience working within an elderly care setting
- Self-motivated, resilient, and well-organized
- Team player but able to work on your own initiative
- Dependable, able to work well under pressure, and flexible to meet the needs of the Home
- Previous supervisory experience within a care/nursing home setting and experience of working with the elderly
- NVQ level 2 in health & social care is essential
