Main Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Providing exceptional customer service to students, parents, and visitors, responding to queries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Assisting with pupil first aid and welfare duties, ensuring the well-being of students is a top priority.
- Coordinating school trips, events, and other activities, ensuring smooth logistics and effective communication.
- Providing administrative support, including typing, word processing, and data entry tasks.
- Maintaining accurate records and management information systems, ensuring data integrity and compliance.
- Preparing reports, lists, and other documents as required, utilizing strong organizational and time management skills.
- Supporting the line manager in the operation of the secretarial and administrative functions, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with staff, parents, governors, contractors, and external agencies, promoting the academy's objectives and values.
- Clerking governing body meetings, preparing agendas, papers, and minutes, and maintaining records as required.
Requirements and Qualifications
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual who possesses:
- A proven track record of delivering high-quality administrative services.
- Excellent ICT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and management information systems.
- Experience working with children of relevant age groups.
- A good standard of general education, including literacy and numeracy skills.
