Job Summary:

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Radiology department as a Medical Staffing and Insourcing Team Leader. The successful candidate will provide operational support for the medical workforce, working closely with the Clinical Director, training scheme leads, and Service Manager to develop and implement new processes and procedures for rota management, recruitment, and insourcing.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of Band 4 PAs in the department
  • Support the Rota lead with the management of the on-call rota and record swaps, annual leave, and sickness
  • Work closely with the Admin Manager to support capacity gaps and escalate to the service management team
  • Proactively ensure all vacancies have the right approval to recruit and are actively recruited externally
  • Minimize bank and agency spend within the care group
  • Support the recruiting managers with the HR admin processes related to recruitment
  • Work with the medical education clinical and admin teams to ensure all new starters have the right level of educational supervision and training packages in place

Requirements:

  • Educated to GCSE level with experience in administration
  • A willingness to undertake further training
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent word-processing and spreadsheet skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
