Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Front of House Assistant to join our team at William Strike Ltd. As a key member of our restaurant staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up and maintain the front of house and counters to our company standards, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for customers.
  • Present menus, serve, and assist customers in selecting food and beverages, providing personalized recommendations and exceptional service.
  • Provide counter service, prepare beverages, and deliver chef-prepared meals to customers at their tables.
  • Prepare restaurant tables with special attention to hygiene and cleanliness, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our guests.
  • Process payments at electronic till points, handling customer transactions efficiently and accurately.
  • Perform basic cleaning tasks as needed, maintaining a high level of cleanliness and organization throughout the restaurant.
  • Closing front of house areas each day to our company standards, ensuring a smooth transition for the next day's operations.
Requirements:
  • Friendly and engaging personality, with a genuine love for customer service.
  • Barista experience preferred, but not essential, as full training will be provided.
  • Strong customer service skills, with the ability to work well under pressure and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and management.
  • Great teamwork, with a willingness to collaborate and support colleagues to achieve our goals.
  • Hardworking and flexible, with the ability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends.
