Job Overview

This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated individual to join our team as a Project Worker, supporting children and young adults in our care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality person-centered support to enable and empower our young people to develop the skills necessary for independent living.
  • Establish professional relationships with clients, using clear communication to promote independence through daily living skills and social engagement.
  • Assist clients in understanding and planning their support package, focusing on positive outcomes to maximize potential.
  • Provide advocacy to support clients and their families when required, to maximize independence and personal potential.
  • Liaise with external agencies to ensure maximum support is delivered to enable clients to access and maintain a level of integration within the wider community.

Requirements:
  • Experience of working with vulnerable children and young adults.
  • Proven experience of working with relevant client groups.
  • Proven knowledge of key needs and services for relevant client groups.
  • Some knowledge of relevant legislative and regulatory requirements.
  • Good understanding of written and spoken English.
  • Good communication skills.
