Experienced Children's Residential Home Manager

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to lead our team and make a positive impact on the lives of the children in our care. Our client, a dedicated and compassionate children's residential home located in Dover, is committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment for children and young people.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the residential home, ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations and quality standards.
- Lead, mentor, and support a team of care staff, promoting professional development and best practices.
- Develop and implement individual care plans tailored to the needs of each child, ensuring their emotional, physical, and educational needs are met.
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and external agencies, advocating for the best interests of the children in our care.
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided, implementing improvements as necessary.
- Manage budgets and resources effectively, ensuring financial sustainability of the home.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- A relevant management qualification (e.g., Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare).
- Proven experience in a managerial role within a children's residential setting.
- Strong understanding of child development, safeguarding, and relevant legislation.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team and build positive relationships with children and families.
