Job Title: Youth Development Professional

Salary: £13.12 per hour

Location: St Johns Church Road, Folkestone

Working Hours: 22.5 hours per week

Job Description:

This role involves providing high-quality support to children and young adults, enabling them to develop essential skills for independent living.

You will establish professional relationships with clients, using clear communication to promote independence and personal choice.

Your responsibilities will include understanding and planning individual support packages, advocating on behalf of clients when required, and managing safeguarding principles to ensure client safety.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience working with vulnerable children and young adults
  • Proven knowledge of key needs and services for relevant client groups
  • Some knowledge of legislative and regulatory requirements
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to demonstrate a positive approach to clients
