Job Title: Night Porter

At The Inn Collection Group, we are seeking a Night Porter to join our team at the Knaresborough Inn. As a Night Porter, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the inn during the night shift, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Reporting to the Duty Manager
  • Greeting and checking in/out guests
  • Handling guest enquiries at the bar, reception, and over the phone
  • Operating the till and preparing bills/checking in/out
  • Serving guests in a professional manner
  • Maintaining the cleanliness of the restaurant, lounge, and toilets
  • Preparing the restaurant for breakfast and setting up the buffet table
  • Conducting security checks around the inn
Requirements:
  • Able to work independently
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Friendly and approachable demeanor
  • Upbeat and positive attitude
  • Strong communication and organizational skills

As a Night Porter, you will be an integral part of our team, working closely with our Duty Manager and other colleagues to ensure the success of the inn. If you are a motivated and customer-focused individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional service, we would love to hear from you.
